Lock, Hulme & Co. : ウィキペディア英語版 | Lock, Hulme & Co. This Pembrokeshire bank was established by a Mr Hulme, who was a bank clerk. He worked for the Carmarthen Bank before its failure in 1832, and went into partnership with a Mr Robert Lock. They traded under the name Lock, Hulme & Co.〔Early Banks in West Wales, by Francis Green (in West Wales Historical Records, The Annual Magazine of The Historical Society of West Wales, Volume VI, edited by Francis Green, Printed by W. Spurrell & Son, 1916)〕 The Bank opened a branch in Pembroke 〔 and was subsequently purchased by the London and Provincial Bank, Ltd. (1864–1917), in 1868. This bank was itself absorbed by the London Provincial and South Western Bank Ltd.
